She over 15 years of experience advancing maternal, child, and adolescent health, SRHR, and eye health across Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Clare has extensive expertise in designing, managing, and implementing eye health initiatives in development, emergency response, and hospital settings, with a strong focus on gender equality, social inclusion, and innovative approaches that strengthen health access. Her work spans research, monitoring and evaluation, advocacy, fundraising, and knowledge management, ensuring programs are evidence‑based and sustainable. She is an experienced trainer and facilitator, delivering learning programs for clinicians, health workers, policymakers, and community leaders. At Orbis Canada, she leads efforts to advance equity in eye health and strengthen gender-transformative strategies across global programming. She is also the co‑founder of Women Leaders in Eye Health, a global initiative championing gender equity in the eye health workforce, and co‑founder of the Sex Ed Justice Project, advocating for reproductive justice and inclusive health education.
