She is a passionate advocate for equitable and quality eye care across Ghana and beyond. Her subspecialty interest in Pediatric Ophthalmology drives her commitment to improving vision outcomes for children. Under her leadership, the Society has strengthened partnerships, expanded outreach programs, and advanced national eye health initiatives. She spearheaded the landmark Documentary on the History of Ophthalmology in Ghana, preserving the profession’s legacy for future generations. A firm believer in mentorship, Dr. Ofori-Adjei established the Young Ophthalmologist Group of OSG to nurture and empower the next generation of eye health leaders. Through this platform, she continues to mentor and train young ophthalmologists to lead with skill, compassion, and purpose.
